My name’s Dave Fleming and I’m a games development graduate and a hobbyist musician/producer.

I’ve been into making games since I was about 12, when I started making modifications to Sonic The Hedgehog ROMs for the Sega Megadrive. Since then I’ve taken a serious interest in the subject and it’s become not only my biggest hobby but my life’s ambition. I can spend hours upon hours programming and I find the process of problem solving and self improvement fascinating and wholly absorbing.

My second love is my music; I’m currently in an alt-rock band called TrickTank (you can find us on YouTube). When I’m not jamming with my bandmates, I’ll be working on my own personal music projects (the results of most can be found on my portfolio page). I like to try different styles but my favourites are VGM/Classical (like RPG stuff), rock/alternative and techno/metal hybrids.

Naturally I love to combine my interests and whenever I include music in my games it is typically of my own composition. I love to try to make music for games of different types too; I’m especially open to providing music for other people because this helps me improve my skills a lot more than self-critique does [if you're interested, then contact me!].

Currently I’m working on improving both my musicianship and programming skills. To do this I’m working on Flash projects as a freelance game developer, either through my own projects or on working on a contract (typically paid) basis. I’m open to any opportunities that may be available and if you have any coding or music that needs doing please check out the “Personal CV” and portfolio pages and get in touch.

I’ll add more here and update as time goes on, so check back every once in a while!
